Here is a little bit about Miriam in her own words:
“In 2011 I wrote my autobiography “Shh Don’t Tell – A true story of Survival”. I am an advocate for people who suffer from domestic abuse.
On May 11th, 2024 on the 25th anniversary of the Irish state apology a memorial was unveiled on the grounds of the industrial school where I spent all my childhood Nazareth House otherwise known as Pembroke Alms Industrial School”.

She has been shortlisted for the Personal Achievement Category at the Make It Happen Awards Gala Ball hosted by Pat Slattery and Donna Kennedy-Slattery.
